A TABLE FOR THE FALLEN
As part of every exhibition of "DEPICTING THE INVISIBLE" a portrait series of veterans suffering from PTSD, a Table for the Fallen is set up. The table invites the public to help keep alive the memories of our fallen heroes. Inspired by military tradition, visitors are invited sit at a dinner table set for one and create a personal video tribute to a fallen soldier whom they wish to honor.
The table is dedicated to the memory of Staff Sgt. Damon Zeigler, who lost his battle with PTSD after generously sharing his story as a subject in the "Depicting the Invisible" portrait series. Sgt. Zeigler called it one of his "proudest moments".
